2014.1 web store creating hundreds of lead records

Anyone else notice that with 2014.1 the web store is generating extra lead records when someone is adding items to their cart and starting the checkout process then adding more items to the shopping cart.  Each time they go towards the checkout process an additional lead record is created.  Some times we have 5 lead records followed by a customer record.  all created within minutes. all with the same email address.
