Can I safely uninstall/reinstall drag and drop bundle?

I am wondering if I can safely uninstall the Drag and Drop bundle and then reinstall it without losing anything (files or any associated records). We are trying to diagnose performance issues, and looking the the scripts associated with all of our scripted records, it appears each script is attached SEVEN times. It appears that the bundle has been upgrading six times, so this is likely the issue.

Any thoughts?
