Defect 314768: Shipping Charges being Removed from Sales Orders

The shipping charges being removed from sales orders is becoming a HUGE headache!  We've been averaging between 50-70% a day on orders having to be touched to put the shipping charges back in - this morning it was 100%!!!  I do not have the time or the staffing to go into each and every order to check and see if the shipping charge has been removed and then add it back in.  An update on when this defect will be fixed would be appreciated!
