Reports canceling when using Chrome

Several of our reports CANCEL when trying to run them from Chrome but work when running with IE 11.  It seems to be reports that require lots of data. For example running the standard income statement by month from 1/2010 thru 9/2014, it almost immediately CANCELS when running via Chrome but runs fine in IE 11.  Any ideas how to resolve this?
