Payments are going into Unapproved customer payments - Why?

Ever since the upgrade last week now when we record a customer payment in NS is is going to unapproved customer payment and i can not seem to resolve why... We are doing the same steps as before the release and unchecking the card credit card box. (this is not happening for customer deposits)  These are payments that we take manually on our moneris machine and then input them into NS.. our work around is change the payment method to Cash and then change it back to visa and it works and staying in up-deposited fund... BUT this is extra
