KITS no default location, not committing

Hoping someone will have a better work around or suggestion for this problem -

Most of our sites come from an automated source - website that is.  Some of our items are kits.  We use multi-location and the kits come through with no location so we have to hand change each one to fulfill, and often lose the order in the pile.  Ive noticed there is now a location field on the kit itself, can I somehow make the kit default to this location and enter itself on the orders?

Our kits are a mess right now, customers orders are being delayed and we need help!
