Dealing with Industry Standard Forms (e.g. Bill of Lading)
In more than one instance, I have come up against situations where customers need to use an industry standard form and get their NetSuite data onto it.
There are a number of methods to do this but none of them are complete:
1) Do a merge onto a Word Doc or PDF from either a NS Form (Invoice) or Custom Record.
- Caveat: Line Items won't merge out of NetSuite
2) Try printing onto a pre-printed form by tweaking the PDF Template
- Very tedious and hit or miss
3) Use the E-mail Template for output in Forms (i.e. Invoice HTML template)
