Field Update - Freight Charges Not Updating On Sales Order

Help - I have emailed support about this and logged an ESCALATED case with them over the phone but still no answer.  Maybe someone out there can help me.

Can you tell me what settings or configurations would cause the "freight charge" field on the sales order to not be updated when the order is fulfilled and a new freight charge is recorded on the fulfillment screen.

We have the freight charge field populated initially by having system add 20% to sales order total if using DHL ground. (in order to pre-approve a safe amount for credit cards) Upon fulfillment we have actual charge entered by warehouse using OzLink on fulfillment screen as well as tracking number. (tracking number is updating)Freight is not. We invoice from sales order screen and need actual data updated by system.
