Adding 3rd part Tracking Numbers

Right now UPS tracking numbers are automatically trasferred into sales orders and invoices.

We use various trucking companies services and would like to be able to add their tracking number to sales orders or invoices so customers can do the tracking themselves.

Is anyone doing this?
