Should duplicate serial number ever be allowed?
I've discovered another interesting (and concerning) feature of serialized inventory management. It appears that you can build a serialized assembly item (SN: 12345), sell it, then build the same item with the same serial number and sell again.
It could be there is an option to prevent such behavior, but I haven't found it yet.
Granted, there should be checks in place further up the pipeline to prevent this, but it seems as though this should not be allowed. It would not be difficult to maintain a table of serial numbers / itemID pairs and check against this before allowing duplicate items to be built.
