Print Shipping Labels from a Mac

edited Nov 25, 2019 10:50AM in Accounting / ERP 3 comments

He's how I did it. I have UPS label printer attached to a PC I then creat a desktop printer on my Mac for that printer.

To create the printer go to printers/ add printer, click more printers, select Windows printing and you should see the computer to which the UPS printer is attached. Select it and you have now added the label printer to your Mac. To make a desktop printer you simply go to printer setup utility click on the printer, then in the menu bar go to printers/create desktop printer.

Now the good bit when you print a label using a Mac, it will put a file on the desktop with the extension .elp2 just rename it to .ps and drop the file on the desktop printer, hey presto.

Howdy, Stranger!
