shipping label integration CONFUSION !!!

Ok. This is the problem.

I have the ups account set up, so far everything ok.
I have set up the shipping items also. When I have a sales order, I can calculate the real rates from ups, right?
Now, when I press "Fulfill", I have the chance to check this option(shipping label integration), right?
I think is checked by default..
Now, in this screen, the last tab, the package tab, shows the weight field, I don't have to type anything here, its already there.. from the item weight.
It shows me also fields for the box: the Packaging, the Dimensions, if there is any handling costs..
