COD amount in fulfillment updates automaticly

Hi,

I had some issue in the past... when you partially fulfill an order and check the COD box the amount doesn't get calculated automatically for the item you are going to fulfill and ship. I though this would be one of the option included in 2007 but it seems like it is not the case.
does anyone know anything about this and if it will be fix any time soon?
