Default Shipping Address

Every time we add a new "ship to" address (for drop ships). NS automatically assigns that new address as the default. You have to "uncheck" it or it becomes the new default "ship to" address.
This leads to shipping errors the next time the customer orders.

Is it possible to change in set up or preferences or what ever. So that you have to check default, otherwise it just leaves it as an alternative ship to address?
