Line Item Shipping Dates for Sales Orders with mulitple shipments how to emulate
We need line item shipping dates, and hope the enhancement will come soon.
Most of our customers issue a single purchase order for items to be shipped on mulitple dates. We have two strategies:
1) We create one Sales Order for each ship date - by since dates and quantities are changed frequently it is hard to keep these multiple sales orders aligned with the single customer purchase order that has regular changes
2) We list the same item multiple times on a single Sales Order to align with the singel customer purchase order. This makes alignment with changes easier, but we can only use the next ship date in the ship date field of the Sales Order, so all reports for Sales/Opportunities/Forcasting, etc are all wrong
