Discounts no longer displayed in confirmation emails

As of Friday, we were updated again. (Prior, we had 2007.1)

After the update, order confirmation emails to customers no longer include discounts as a line item and moreover, the discount is not shown in the total displayed.

However, when I process an order, the discount is listed and applied.

Not a good change.  Each order now generates a support request from a concerned customer.
