Shipping from several shipping items

I would like to set up shipping, so that I have several options: Fedex 2day, Fedex Overnight, UPS Overnight, UPS Overnight.

I would like to have a set fee for each of these shipping types added for each of my items, so that if a sales person creates an order they would select an item(s), then a shipping type and the shipping cost would be added to the order based on the shipping type they chose using the fee I have associated with the shipping type in the item setup.

Presently, there is only one option for shipping cost for each item I set up, so no matter what type of shipping item is chosen the ship charge is the same unless I base the price on Real Time rates. Support has told me there is no way to do this. Any one know of a way to set this up?
