Item on Drop Ship PO Displays Vendor

I am having an issue with Drop Ship PO's.  The Item field displays the Vendor Name instead of the Item.  I tried creating new fields, but this did not solve the problem.  Customer service tried to tell me that the system was designed this way. 

Does anyone else have this problem?
