merge invoices / after fulfillment

I tried the auto fulfill a SO and it messed a few things up.

On one sales order, it partially fulled the items, then I had to go back and fulfilled the rest manually.
then I was left w/ 2 invoices for this customer!.
I only want one!

How do I merge two billed invoices?
can I go back to the SO, with ALL the items on there, then fulfill properly?
the I can bill the correct invoice?
