Best way to test printing shipping label

Brand new user - I think I'm way in over my head.

We're making progress, very slowly, but surely. 

As we're chugging along getting the ecommerce site going, we're trying to test the entire path, from customer shopping cart, to purchase, to fulfilling order. 

One item we need to test is the Eltron LP2844 printer.  I have the label.bat file setup as a EPL2 type.  Now I want to test printing out some labels.

Any ideas how to do this without going through an entire purchase/fullfillment transaction?
