Unknown Packaging Error

Setting up FedEx as shipping.  I have a rate for 2nd Day Air.  when I go to fulfill the shipment the rate is properly calculated, but when I go to save the transaction I get an error "unknown packaging".  I ha ve selected "Your Packaging" in the Carrier Packaging field.  Any idea what I am doing wrong?
