Viewing Sub Locations

We have set up sub locations to our main location - this is needed as some purchased items need to be inspected before being passed to the main location and subsequent use in manufacture. Our problem is that when we raise a Work Order in the Main Location we would like to also be able to see what is in the sub-location awaiting inspection to avoid "over" back ordering being triggered.

Can anyone please help with suggesting of how this could be achieved
