creating a cash sale from a backorder
We are distributors that accept orders from a variety of sources (sales reps; tradeshows; phone; online)....all with one thing in common - we do not always ship complete, thus have many backorders.
Here is the problem:
Once we pre-auth a credit card, and subsequently charge the amount for the sale, there does not seem to be a way (at a later date) to create a sale from the backorder while preauthing/charging the second sale.
(Netsuite holds the credit card info from the first sale (as it should), but this creates a barrier).
Currently we have to copy the original sales order, and then edit those items previously fulfilled and then move ahead with the current sale.
