Adding Field to Work Order Form

I am wanting to add the "costing method" field  to Items listed under the items tab in the Work Order Form. Can anyone please help? It looks like I might have to create a Custom Field and source the "costing method" However I cannot locate where this field is listed.

Any help would be appreciated
