Landed Cost - create Freight Item as a Landed Cost Item?
Hi,
Can someone clarify this when creating a Landed Cost item. From Netsuite Help
"Since the freight bill is not associated with an inventory item, you must create a landed cost item record for Freight.
You can create an Other Charge item record called Freight, since freight is not an inventory item. On the Freight item record you create, the Track Landed Cost box is marked. "
Go to Lists > Accounting > Items ( Administrator ) .
2. Click the item type you want to create to track the landed cost.
Note: Only an Inventory item or Assembly item can track landed cost."
If the Item is an Other Charge Item Type, there is no landed cost checkbox so does this not contradict.
