Shipping Drop Down Box - UPS - USPS/More

We would like to get away from the drop down box that shows up in the check out process if you use more than one major carrier.  We currently use UPS but if we turn on Endicia, it forces a drop down box in the check out process where customers are forced to go back and forth to choose a carrier.  Is there any way around this?

We are considering changing to FedEx if they would show up on the shipping method page along with Endicia or any other shipping option we came up with like generic flat rate ground shipping.
