No edit on UPS field names? That will make me leave UPS

I am outsourcing fulfillment so obviously I have to export ship method and use my warehouse's codes.  But apparently since an update I cant edit the name of UPS shipping items, except ground.

There is an enhancement already but how is this not a defect?

If I cant fix this I will be leaving UPS in a few days and going only postal.
