Edi + As2?

I can't do a search for EDI or AS2 because the forum search seems to be configured to ignore words that are three letters or shorter

Has anyone done an EDI implementation via AS2?  I'm a pretty capable scripter and would prefer to roll my own instead of buying something.  So if anyone can point me at something someone has posted here in the user group, I'd appreciate it.
