Bulk Fulfillment Won't Work when Switching Among Carriers

We use USPS to ship packages less than 2lbs, and FedEx to ship packages greater than 2lbs (USPS seems to be cheaper than FedEx below 2lbs.)

We use FarApp to integrate with Amazon, and we've setup Farapp to map "standard" shipping (in Amazon) to a "USPS" shipping item in NS.

The problem we're having is that we can't seem to switch among carriers when we bulk fulfill orders.  For packages that weigh more than 2lbs, since these are being mapped to USPS, we try to bulk-fufill these packages by changing the "Ship Via" to FedEx, but we get the following error message:  "Missing or invalid data element: MailClass".
