Default Shipping Address & Method

We are a distributor who sells to businesses that install security equipment.  Since moving to Netsuite we have had a problem with the stickiness of ship tos and methods.  Even though our customer sets a default for both if a ship method or address is changed it becomes the default and numerous times the next order is sent either to the wrong location or overnight instaed of the default that was originally picked.

Has this affected anyone and if so have you found a solution?

Also we sell 99% of our equipment on open account, but I have not been able to find how to make that the default rather than the default being creedit card.
