Entering orders with future ship dates.
New to NetSuite. We enter orders months in advance for our preseason business. This means in August 2011 we enter orders that ship in March 2012. What is the best way to do this in NetSuite? A few notes:
1.) We don't want the available to purchase number to be affected until closer to the ship date.
2.) We may end up shipping items on separate dates.
I'm wondering if we should be creating these as sales orders with a future date, or if we should be entering as opportunities?
Thanks.
