preseason orders

We are new to NetSuite as of Jan 1 this year.  We are in the outdoor business and have preseason orders up to 9 months in advance.  We do not want these orders to allocate as soon as we enter them.  When I asked the 'help desk', they said we can unallocated them line by line.  That is just no practical in this situation.  Does anyone have a work around for this?  Thanks, Steve
