Get Tracking Number from Item Fulfillment Record

Hi All,

if SO/ItemFulfillment has ship method = "ShipRate" than the below line return tracking number but if the ship method is not "shipRate" than the below line returns null.
nlapiGetLineItemValue('package','packagetrackingnumber',1);

I have a scenario where shipMethod is "USPS Priority" how can i get tracking number for that?
