Prevent sending email after fulfillment

We're running into a problem here, as we can't find any way to prevent an email being sent out.

I need the ability, either view Netsuite itself, or a User Event script, to NOT send an email to the customer when a sales order is fulfilled.

Has anyone sucessfully done this?
