Search for Packing Slip

We have a need to mimic the functionality of printing a packing slip. Currently we have a situation where one sales order gets fulfilled by 2 or 3 fulfillments.

Many of the item related fields like serial numbers exist in fulfillments. Is there an easy way to search across all fulfillments for a particular sales order? The search results will contain fields from the Sales order, item and fulfillment.
