Packing Slip sort order

Has anyone ever looked into a solution to sort line items in a particular order on the packing slip form?


We get orders that contain hundreds of line items, which are listed in the order they are added to the cart. It takes our customers a very long time to find the item they are checking in.

We would like to list the items in alphanumeric order by item number.


The functionality exists for the Pick Ticket form, why can't we have the same functionality for the Packing Slip form?
