How do I "flag" multiple orders to same customer trying to cut shipping costs

edited Nov 25, 2019 10:43AM in Accounting / ERP 1 comment

Our objective is to minimize shipping costs, as a distribution center we would like to bundle multiple orders together in the following 2 scenarios:

(1) Same customer placing multiple orders either same day or next day. Sometimes its a large unit, sometimes its a part. Parts we can ship via courier but if a unit is also being shipped we can save the courier cost and bundle in one shipment via courier (one shipment) or we deliver with company delivery trucks.

(2) Different customers but along the same route. We have established regions that we deliver into. If we can somehow identify next day (or today) delivery routes in Netsuite then we can rush the new order for picking and shipping thus bundling deliveries by routes.

Howdy, Stranger!
