Multiple Shipping Routes Feature has no Tax?

Hi All,

After confirming with Netsuite via a support case it turns out Multiple Shipping Routes doesn't leverage any tax functionality, even though the standard shipping does.

Apparently this feature has been in place since at least 2008?

So my question is how can anyone actually use this feature?

Does anyone have any advice on how to make use of this native feature and still comply with taxation requirements?

Hopefully support are wrong and there is something we're missing.
