Item Available >>>> Item on Hand. Is this Possible?

Hello,

We have a situation wherein the inventory number record is showing the following information at a specific warehouse.

Qty on hand = 6600
Qty Available = 93800

Is this situation even possible? If it is, any tips on how to bring the available qty to 6600, which is the correct quantity. The item record is showing correct information but the lot number record seems to be off. This is also not an one off situation.
