WMS Lite - Putaway & Picking Strategies

Hi All

We are in the process of installing WMS Lite. Unfortunately I  not sure if it is just me but the not only is the available documentation very limited it is not all that self explanatory around the subject of Putaway or Picking strategies,

Does anyone have any other best practises, or other points of reference to direct me to.
