Fulfillment Subtotal

I'm trying to find an easy way to calculate the subtotal for what is shipping/fulfilled. This subtotal would be less than the sales order subtotal in the case of short ship/out of stock. I'd even be open to the idea of a saved search performing the calculation based on the document ID/fulfillment number (if that's possible). This would be especially helpful in the case of COD shipments.
I thought there was supposed to be a COD total in with the package info, but I cannot find that.
