Over-Fulfillment on Intercompany Transfer Orders / Sales-Purchases

I posted this elsewhere but think it may have been under the wrong forum. So I thought I'd try my luck here.

I am new to Netsuite and am trying to figure out how we can fulfil, for example 2.1kg of Watermelon to an Inter company who has ordered 2kg.

I have checked the box "update inter company order quantities automatically prior to shipment", which when changing the PO gives a warning of "when you change the inter company sales order quantity, the inter company purchase quantity and price will be adjusted based on this change", on which I click OK
