Employee Utilization
Anyone run a professional services organization? If you do, how are you managing utilization? Typically you want to manage the ratio between billable and non-billable events. Most consulting organizations want about a 70% ratio if you can.
Anyone able to create a report that has this? We have the advanced project module but it only provides two metrics: job hours and total hours. Total hours is great but I need a way to get a report by employee with the columns: Billable Hours, Non-Billable Hours, Ratio.
Job Hours in the advanced project module is useless, as well as the Employee Utilization report that comes with that module. Having a ratio of Job Hours vs. Total Hours doesn't tell you anything because you don't know how many of those hours were billable or not.
