Sales by Item Summary Report Time Out Failure
From V11, our inventory reports fail with "Report Execution Error -- Timeout" with date ranges > 4-5 months and setting columns to "Month". This happens with the canned NS report "Sales by Item Summary" so it is not a customization issue. For example,
- Run the standard NS report "Sales by Item Summary" -- runs fine and very quick with the default column setting Total)
- Change the date range to say 5/1/06-9/30/06 and change the Column setting to Month and Refresh -- Report Execution Error: Timeout error after @4 minutes.
We used these features extensively prior to R11 w/out fail in both standard and customized reports for checking run rates, etc. A major inconvenience now. Anyone having the same issue and been able to work through it? Perhaps a parameter setting to allow more time?
