Saved Search on Notes field

Hi

Can anyone tell me it it is posibble to produce a saved search or report on User Notes.

If so - how?

I know it is possible to search on System Notes.

I am not sure of the relationship between User Notes and other so called 'Activities' (Task, Phone Call, Event).
