How to get reports to not truncate text fields

I have a report that goes to execs each week that contains a text field that is similar to a comments field. The report always truncates the text field yet the execs want the entire field's text to display. Is there a way to do this? Is there a different type of field that does not get truncated? Is there an override to this? Help.
