merge reports from multi platforms

our retail buyers need to see both sales and on hand inventory for all items including those that had no sales transactions onto a single report. this data pulls from two different platforms. surely there is a way to populate a single report utilizing some sort of merge for the different platforms without having to custom build via suitescript. anybody have an idea?
