List View How to? intentionally show days when there are no underlying records
We are working on a scheduling / planning application. We use Opportunity records to record things we are seeking to schedule or plan which eventually become orders.
I want to list dates by day into the future ordered by date. I then want to show all Opportunity records that have information on them for those dates. There may be days where we have no opportunities but I still want to show that date as a placeholder. No information here is important to know. I am seeking to use Direct List Editing and my hope is to allow quick entry for new items via the List. Visually, we need to see a date in a list and know if there is no opportunity on it.
