Saved Search Date Formula

Hi there,

I am trying to write a formula to get the first day of the next month on a transaction saved search.  I have found the LAST_DAY function, but I don't see anything for the first day.

For example, for a transaction performed today (9/3/2009), I'd like to see a field with a date of 10/1/2009.

How can I do this?
