PDF template - not editable by recipient
I need to send a document to a customer and make it so the customer cannot edit it. Word obviously won't work since they can edit the document. PDF is the best choice as the document is fairly uneditable.
Currently we use a Word template, then my staff convert it to PDF and send that to the customer. I want to automate this so it is much more streamlined.
PDF Template seems to be the obvious solution. However, to use a PDF template , I create a PDF form. Then do the merge. All is well, but when the customer gets it, it is still a form and they could edit it (financials that should not be changed).
